We are so very proud to announce that Disco Patricia (Twin Pond Disco Kid X More Apples Please), owned by Ellen and Joe Palillo from Pennsylvannia, USA, is pregnant to Cortez. 'Patti' is a beautiful, talented Morgan and we are honoured that Ellen chose our Cortez for her. We are also grateful to Nina Bates of Bossert Ranch in California, who bred Cortez, for allowing us to purchase the frozen semen that was stored in the States, prior to Cortez being imported to Australia.

Another very exciting time for us was to have Jan Tucker, owner of Wilga Park Serjania, aka Jack, bring her daughter, Riley to visit.
Jan had planned their visit for months. She had purchased Wilga Park Santa Cruz (Jack's younger brother) for Riley as a Surprise 13th birthday present, back in March. Jan made the decision to purchase Cruz because she is so impressed with Jack's temperament and feels so safe on him no matter where they go (and Jack is only 3 yrs old) she felt confident in purchasing another, just like him, for Riley.
Jan purchased Jack in early 2008 as a 14 month old and has experienced how time flys so quickly to the point where she could be riding her beautiful geldin. She knows it won't be long before Riley and Cruz are joining Jack and herself on outings.
Cortez was competing at Gatton at the Brenda Whitman Dressage Championships, so Riley and Jan came with us to watch the Sire of their boys strut his stuff. Linda Shore, his Trainer, was very happy with his performance on the weekend. Cortez has muscled up and filled out over the last few months with his training at home. He is training the higher movements of Dressage and his body is really showing the results.
We had a fun day at Wilga Park, so that Jan and Riley could meet some more Morgan people. Jan loves to talk about her Morgan (like every Morgan owner we know) and doesn't often get the chance to do so without her audience 'glazing over'. (She hasn't yet met up with any other Morgan owners close to her in Victoria). We promised Jan an opportunity to talk Morgans all day long without anyone becoming bored. In fact, we warned her that, if the conversation was about Morgans, she might have to wait for someone to draw breath to get a word in <g>.
As well as talk about their wonderful horses, everyone got to scratch foals and ride our boys as well. Mt Tawonga Oscar, Mt Tawonga Nepean and Indigo Roc the Boat, aka Rocky, gave our visitors a fun time. We enjoy every moment someone is having fun with our Morgans.
